18 Years In Business
On June 8th, 2026, we marked our 18th year in business. Thank you for helping a small, family-owned arcade business make it this far! Fun fact: we share an anniversary with two incredible ’80s movie releases: Ghostbusters & Gremlins. Too bad there isn’t a Gremlins pinball.
We originally opened as The Game Grid Arcade, and were on the outside of the mall near Red Robin. This was before the mall renovations that brought the building into the 21st century. We moved inside soon afterwards, bringing out PC LAN center with us, and were down a hall that no longer exists, which used to connect to Mervyn’s.
In 2012, that part of the mall was rebuilt as the Larry H. Miller Megaplex, so we and others like Ryan’s Jewelry Repair, moved to other spots in the mall. We moved to a spot that was initially quite large, but further mall construction reduced that space. We also had few using the PC LAN at that point, so we closed that and filled it with more things like pinball. As we grew, we needed more ‘breathing room,’ so moved to a larger spot in 2017, which is where we’ve been ever since.
We changed our name in 2020, as explained in this video, but have still been striving to keep our mission intact – provide fun with games & experiences that you can’t get on your phone, or easily have at home. We hold monthly pinball tournaments that anyone interested can participate in, and we also feature a lot of games that you cannot find anywhere else. We enjoy offering rarities, as playing these games on the real thing is far more satisfying and fun than on an emulator.
News
This summer, we do have some changes that we’ll be going through. As of June 17th, we have sold our Minecraft Dungeons Arcade machine, and no longer have it. We still have some cards to sell, but once they’re gone, they’re gone.
In it’s place, we will be adding in a cool light-gun game called GIGASHOT. This is a 4-player game where you use a realistic shotgun controller and play either shooting gallery levels or shooting monsters/bad guys. This is exclusive to arcades and a neat, unique experience that no one else in Utah has (as far as we know).
There is one other game we’ve also got our eye on, but it will have to wait for an announcement. Stay tuned!
