Announcement: Earn A Real Arcade Game Patch

Getting a high score or completing a game is a nice feat, but perhaps you want more to show off your gaming prowess. At Arcade Galactic, we’ve always taken photos (for those who want it) of those who get the #1 score on a game that we’ve recorded; now, you can also win a REAL, professionally made cloth patch for doing that!

We have had these patches on hand for several years, however, we had more stringent requirements, to the point that very few people attempted to get them. We are simplifying the process to get them, although it’s still not something that will be doable by just anyone walking in – there has to be some challenge to it!

Here are the requirements:

Light-gun Game Patch [For Luigi’s Mansion Arcade, The Walking Dead, Jurassic Park Arcade, The House Of The Dead: Scarlet Dawn, Outnumbered, Aliens: Armageddon, Enter The Gungeon: House of The Gundead.]: Get the #1 score we have registered on any of our gun games OR complete the game.

(Note that we’ll have to figure out something for Big Buck Hunter Reloaded, as this has an overly complex leaderboard system)

Racing Game Patch [Maximum Tune 5DX+, Cruis’n Blast, BATMAN, NIRIN, Chase HQ2, Redline Rampage]

Because these games have some different requirements, we need to be specific on these games:

• Maximum Tune 5DX+: Complete 5 Japan Challenges OR drive 1000KM OR complete the full story mode
• Cruis’n Blast: Get the best time on either Rio De Janeiro OR Singapore
• BATMAN or Chase HQ2: Get a #1 score
• NIRIN: Get a best time on a Medium or Hard track
• Redline Rampage: Get a #1 time on any track

Fighting game patch [Omen of Sorrow: Arising Chaos, Jitsu Squad Feat. The Samurai Pizza Cats, Samurai Shodown V Perfect, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Street Fighter III: Third Strike, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, The King of Fighters ’98]: Complete any fighting game

Retro Game Master: Get a #1 score on any game from the 1980s

Pinball Wizard: Get a Grand Champion score OR unlock a Wizard mode on any pinball machine

Certified Starfighter [Dariusburst: Another Chronicle, SpaceWarp 66, Galaga Assault, Star Wars Trilogy Arcade]: A #1 score on any leaderboard on these games.

Certified Arcade Hero: Once you’ve obtained all of the above patches, then we’ll give you the Arcade Hero patch!
