Help Save Our Arcade!

Adam, owner of Arcade Galactic here. As many of you know, we have not been the only arcade entertainment option in the Valley Fair area since the end of 2019. While we thought that we could manage to compete with our niche, turns out most people don’t want affordable prices and some retro mixed with the new if they have nothing but new and expensive games nearby.

So after seven years of giving it a shot, we need to find a new place to do business. But, the past few years have been very tough, between this giant multi-million dollar competitor and the constant inflation that’s hit all of our wallets.

So, we are asking for YOUR help so we can make the move. We don’t know where we will go at the moment, as finding a new place to do business is a little more complicated and a lot more expensive than finding a new house. Anything that you can spare will help us get to a new place where we hope to put together an arcade experience that more closely fits with what I originally imagined when I opened up back in 2008. With the right spot we can make it work, as we were doing great business up until the giant competitor moved into the mall.

You can also help out by coming to the Fevered Fabulous Pinball Tournament that is taking place this coming Saturday, August 15th. Proceeds from the tournament will go towards this same fund!

Funds will be used to help us move equipment, but also depending on the amount we end up with, build out the new space and repair games. Thank you for every dollar donated!

I am grateful that Valley Fair has given us a home over the past 18 years, and we will see if we can keep the arcade close to the general West Valley City/Taylorsville area.
