The 2024 Autumn Arrangement

News has been quiet here on the site, with this being an unusually slow Summer. In some ways, the year has been even slower on some months than we saw back in 2020. Unlike most places though, we haven’t raised our prices, so you’re still saving a lot of money on fun compared to our competitors – there’s no entry fee either, so you don’t get locked in to having to spend a minimum.

That isn’t stopping us though! Let’s provide an update to some changes that have hit the arcade over the past few weeks.

We have made several layout changes of where certain games are, while also doing some small swaps. One of those rearrangements is to place many of our “indie games” (independently made arcade titles) into a row all next to each other. This includes games that are unique and so rare that either no where else in Utah has them, or no where else in the world has one:

The games that have returned to the arcade are:

Meanwhile, our 4-player exA-Arcadia, a Neo Geo MVS, and the Family Guy Bowling have gone to a private break room location.

We do have a few games to repair, unfortunately with the big slowdown in business, that is making it more difficult to catch up on certain things, as prices for parts are more expensive than they have ever been.

Also where it is October, that means it’s the perfect month to stop in and play for thrills! We have several games that match up perfectly with the Halloween season, such as:

  • The Walking Dead Arcade (Raw Thrills)
  • House of the Dead Scarlet Dawn (Sega)
  • Luigi’s Mansion Arcade (Sega)
  • Enter The Gungeon: House of the Gundead (Griffin Aerotech)
  • The Addams Family pinball (Williams)
  • GhostBusters (Stern Pinball
  • Jurassic Park Arcade (Raw Thrills)
  • Aliens Armageddon (Raw Thrills)
  • Outnumbered (LAI Games)
  • The Spectre Files: Deathstalker (Galloping Ghost / Midway)
  • Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (Midway)

Then games like Street Fighter II, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Batman, Gauntlet Dark Legacy, Minecraft Dungeons Arcade, even Pitfall II all match up pretty well with the season, even if they aren’t “horror-specific.”

On October 19th, we will be holding the Fantastic Fabulous Pinball Competition, where among the prizes you can win a translite from The Walking Dead pinball machine by Stern Pinball.

We are also selling some equipment off, including two of our old change machines, an old crane we have, and some game boards we have no use for, such as an Orange Marvel Vs. Capcom that works.

We appreciate your business and hope to see you soon! Find us this and every autumn at the Valley Fair Shopping Center, we’re over by JCPenny and Ulta.
