Two New, Locally Created Games Are Here: Soda Slam! & Missile Command: Recharged

Do you like supporting local businesses? How about supporting two local companies in one visit to the arcade?

Alan-1 Inc. is based out of Tooele, and has been designing several arcade games. Late last year and earlier this one, they released Asteroids Recharged and Avian Knights, respectively; then they launched Soda Slam! and Missile Command: Recharged.

These two most recent games are now at Arcade Galactic!

Soda Slam! is a fun, competitive video game that is a kind of modern take on the classic 1983 game Root Beer Tapper. Customers will approach the soda bar and you as the player need to pull on the tap to fill their glass. Don’t overfill it, but don’t underfill it either. If you can get a “perfect” pour, that will give you the most points, and will build up the Ice Cube meter. An ice cube once ready, will be sent over to your opponent at random, which can throw them off on their game as it can overfill one of their glasses. This game is 4 tokens per player ($1)

While many sequels and iterations of Missile Command have appeared on consoles over the years, Missile Command: Recharged Arcade is the first sequel that has appeared in arcades since the original launched in 1980. While it is based on a console version of the same name, the arcade version has been greatly enhanced, providing the superior gameplay experience that one can get out of this game. This is 2 tokens per player (50¢)
